I've just donated a Husqvarna Viking Class 20 to TWAM. The contact I spoke with says they'll take zips, buttons used for making clothes, plus they'll take knitting wool.

What I particularly like is the front belt set in the side seam and love the pleat at the back. Must admit @Helen M the Stella coat looks a nice pattern too.

Each Printed in size range 10-22
£13 for the two plus postage/packing (which I believe will probably be large letter, but not sure).

Does anyone know what's causing the problem with the sample stitching attached?
The top is ok, but the underneath (bobbin) side is very loose.
I'm using the same thread in bobbin and spool.
This machine had previously been used for quilting - I don't know if that is relevant. [ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

I've just ordered some metal bobbins from this seller on eBay @annieeg, I only ordered them on Sunday so they haven't arrived yet but they're due between tomorrow and Friday if you want some feedback about them.
From the description they are genuine parts and fit a number of models including yours.

Good news for me is the five found the little screw on seam guide so no longer need that.
I also have some "after market" feet which I'm hoping will work on the HQ VIKING class 20.

I have been using a class 21 for a while which has been on loan from a friend. I now have to return this

so I've been looking to buy one. I found a Husqvarna Viking class 20 but cannot find any information on it. Does anyone know about this model?

I always ask Immanuels if they can tell whether its 100% viscose, but unfortunatley they don't have that level of information. However, I've only ever had one piece of polyester/viscose blend. Otherwise, its all been reasonable quality 100% viscose. The fabric in my picture is what they call "better quality viscose" @ £3 per metre. The £2 per metre is ok (IMO) and I've made several SA tops (the Jules tunic) and the SA dress recently posted. Just love viscose to wash and wear, and its cool in the summer.

Also, because its not expensive I often use it for toiles....which, if successful, become a wearable toile

Thought you might be interested to see recent viscose purchase from Immanuels (via FB, not their website). £3 per metre. They feel all 100% viscose. I know there's a flowery theme going on (reminds me a bit of some Seasalt stuff) which I'm trying (unsuccessfully) to stay away from, but they have a really nice drape for loose tops and dresses.
