Hello all! As previously mentioned my nephew and his wife have presented the world with a little girl. This is a great excuse for a 1Mx1M Baby quilt!

I have finished the top and have ordered the cotton batting which i have been waiting for. Today it came and i cannot wait...

Generally speaking, i use a rotery cutter for patchwork and for everything else scissors.
But donot forget "generally". I suppose i might use the rotory cutter more if i had a larger workspace with a very large cutting pad...

For weights i use, well.. weights. From the dumbbell that sits close to where i cut. They work well, though 5kg is a bit overkill...

Of course i would make it myself!

In fact, the left half of the quilt top is done. Hopefully before the week´s end the top will be finished-
The back is waiting in my closet and i hope that i have the batting in my stash.

And yes, i will be taking pictures - for a number of things i would like to share!
