I don't know about yardage but I've just finished this MASSIVE dog plushie from fleece scraps (standard coffee mug for scale).

I might re-jig my sewing plans and make a sleeveless jersey "romper" that's on my To Do list instead of the more cool weather things I was going to make.

Here are the scraps I started with (5 different fleece fabrics of various weight and vintage)

And here's what I ended up making with them

This is Patches, my dog Bella's "little brother"

I used a very discontinued Simplicity pattern and hadn't quite realised just how large he'd be when I finished him! I used up almost all of the poly stuffing I had in stash. I won't be making one again, at least not in this size, but I enjoyed the process of creating a plushie from quite a complex pattern.

I desperately need to sew from stash so I did part of Just Get It Done Quilt's declutter challenge and I've made myself up "kits" of fabric, pattern and notions so I've got a place to start.

Not actually done anything yet, but it's the thought/organisation that counts right?

I like this year's challenges and hopefully I'll be able to actually participate this year. Last year was a tad chaotic, although this summer I'm having an operation so maybe this year will be too!

I'm on track (ha!) to finish my item tomorrow, but sadly I can't show it within the month because it's under embargo (it's a test sew). I may have time to whip up a pair of leggings if I'm lucky, so those may have to do!

7
I don't want to even think about how many knitting/crochet UFOs I've got, so I'll stick to the 3 sewing ones!

1. two face masks
2. a McCall's blouse pattern that nearly defeated me with the placket.

I'm really quite a good girl when it comes to starting and finishing a sewing project, so I really don't have many outstanding things that I've actually started. I'm not counting the projects-in-waiting that have got fabric, notions, and pattern ready, but haven't actually been cut out yet!

8
It's only a small amount used, but I've made 3 pairs of knickers with all fabric and elastic from stash. Photos in this blog post.

Not sure how much yardage they used up but those panelled ones could end up getting rather fun and funky as I have smaller and smaller amounts of fabric left!

9
Just like my yarn/fibre stash I don't do yardaged/meterage amounts, I just know I have a lot!

My aim is to be totally "cold sheep" this year (i.e. no fabric, yarn, or fibre purchased) unless it's for a specific project that I'll start right away. We'll see how I hold out, but I've got more than enough for pretty much any project I might want to make.

I'll be making something that fits this category, but as it's a test-sew and I don't know when the final pattern release will be, I'm not sure I'll be able to share progress. It's the thought that counts, right?!  :D

Some good challenges here. Open enough for a wide interpretation but not so open that I've no idea where to start!

I hope my sew-jo returns rather quickly so I can join in this year.

Oh this is apposite! I've been without a sewing machine for 6 weeks (long story, don't ask) so this might be the ideal thing for me to get back in to the swing of things!

I love the design of that long cardy/jumper!

The fabric is phenomenal! Not something I would normally pick, but for £2.99 a metre ...!

So here's the mock-up of my 6PAC.

I won't be able to start sewing for a few weeks, but as long as I don't eat or sleep I should have it done by the first week of November!  :D

Hmm... I've been thinking about this for a few days and I may join in. Whether or not I can complete in time is another matter!

I've got a fairly firm idea about my two capsules. One would be York Pinafore, a pair of leggings and a t-shirt I made last year. Two would be a pair of trousers from an old Simplicity pattern, an Ashton top, and a long line cardigan.

Achievable? Just about, I think!
