I`ve just bought this

which has got exposed zips on the front pockets. I thought it would be nice to have fancy zipper pulls and I see that Jaycotts have quite a few made by Prym. They say they are "very easy to fit", but how please?

Would this help?https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=p6pio4Wut38

Thanks Fran. I'll have to see if husband has anything in his toolkit that would do the job. It'll be an expensive exercise if I have to buy something special

Doesn't have to be expensive to get some nice zips and interesting zipper pulls. Zip sliders and pulls are easy to put on zips especially when you use some of the little tips and tricks.
Watch this for how to put on sliders and also work out which type of slider/pull you need for the type of zip - ie. the shape of the shoulders. It's really easy when you use a fork as a third hand.

If you visit charity shops, keep your eye out for nice zipper pulls. As long as you have a zipper tape of the same size and type eg. nylon coil, then you can harvest the slider and pull and swap it onto your zip.
