Hello,
I have been draping and tweaking this for weeks. It is the skirt overlay for a satin dress.
My question is; having got to this stage how do I remove it from the dressform without it all falling apart. I think i need to tack it all to a piece of gross grain ribon perhaps?

Methinks we need to call on the Fairy !!! @DementedFairy

No idea but it is beautiful!

If the skirt is all hanging from the waist it will need grosgrain ribbon inside or a waistband to hold it together in wear. I think I would securely tack ribbon to the outside to get it off the dress form.
It looks lovely - is it for a special Christmas event?

How lovely! I think BrendaP's idea will work well. I do hope we're going to see a picture of it on in die course.

Oh, I'd love to swish about in that!

That looks lovely GG. I agree with BrendaP. I assume you have an opening planned somewhere?? :)

Delicious! No clue [I don't do draping] but the ribbon suggestion sounds the way to go
