Calicolaine have got Blades Linen reduced to £6.99 at the moment - it`s  55% linen 45% cotton

I`ve had several pieces of this in the past and it is really nice fabric which comes in some lovely colours.  If the exact colour is particularly important to you it is worth getting a sample

Does linen cotton mix crease as badly as 100% linen?

I would always go for a mix - usually get mine from Minerva.  I love linen in the summer and someone recently said they were pleased to see me back in my linen colours for the summer - I start early and get into it.

First thing I do when I unpack on holiday is to press the linen - nightmare!.  But mixes are a doddle.

Thank you, I guess I'm going to have to go back and have a look at Blades again, sigh!  I've no time to sew for a while but I'm still compelled to buy it  :S :fish: :fish: :fish:
