I had a look but need to think a bit more about it.
I am currently a StyleArc 18, but if I lose a bit of weight (as planned) I'd be a 16. The envelope patterns break at that point so don't know what size to buy....

Having gone through them on Amazon - thank you SewRuthieSews - I picked the one I liked and it was not 50% off. There are some, interspersed with the others, being sold by somebody else, so beware!

It would be much better if SA did overlap their sizes. I struggle a bit with their sizes anyway. I think they're more like RTW? I've ordered the Elani tunic top and intend to make up the size 16 with an FBA of some sort, but will no doubt agonise over sizing first!

They are more like RTW sizes, definitely not like the Big 4 patterns.
You can get the overlap that you need if you order a single size PDF from their website. You actually get the size either side of your chosen one ie 14 16 18 if you choose size 16.

I think that's because they're Australian sizes.

I find that they are much like what I'd buy in RTW sizes here if I could get them. They don't have the ease that McCalls/Vogue and co have which I like being at the smaller end of the sizing scale and with the loose look, especially in tops, that has been around for so long.

I'm another one who has lots of Style Arc patterns sitting in boxes waiting to be made up although I did take a sneak peek at the Amazon site just in case. There was one top there I liked the look of but, honestly, when am I ever going to use all the patterns/fabric I already have? So I stayed my naughty fingers and have backed off (for now :devil:).....

I've never used Style Arc so I've ordered two; purely for research you understand. If they arrive in time I might do a "fun with stripes" thing with one of them...just to try.......... 8)

At least you all got yours. I've just had a 'payment declined' email. Anyone else who has had their account hacked will know how close I came to a heart attack but it turns out they had used the wrong card. Why can't I delete all the old defunct ones? ><

I've never used them before but I have ordered two for 'research' purposes! Not bad for the price I have to say - but I did have to look carefully for the 'promotion' as not available on all!

I started this thread but decided in the end not to buy any because I have some downloaded PDFs from last year that I've not used yet and the sizing break is at a really poor place for me.
I hope those of you who have bought them are very happy with them.

I expect mine will arrive either by next Friday or the following week. Gives me time to find some suitable fabric online. ;)

Mine arrived today in cardboard, should help to deplete the stash a bit when I get round to making them.

I got ANOTHER four. Oh dear. Delivery was fast, although one arrived in a flat cardboard envelope and the other three were in a medium sized box, padded out with brown paper. All arrived at the same time. How odd.
And I got some more fabric.
Double oh dear.
BUT
I've finished all the costume sewing bar last minute fixes and tweaks as they go on stage on Wednesday.
AND
I may have just volunteered to make panto costumes for November...

Amazon has decided to post out all my Style Arc patterns individually. ( I went back and ordered 3 more in one go.)
Unfortunately, as I’m using my English/Irish postal address, I shall be charged €4 for every parcel at my local post office, negating most of the savings.
I should have remembered to tick the box about sending them all together so it’s my fault I didn’t do that... but I’m still miffed as I assumed they’d be sent out as a group. :\
