Half price offer on Vogue patterns. But do I really need more patters??

Thanks.  I don't have my eye on anything, but this may change when I go to the fabric shop tomorow.  :D

How long do these sales usually last? A week? Longer? I have a Vogue in my basket at Minerva but am waiting on some fabric samples to check out their buttons, and don't want to miss out on the sale. Postage is always a consideration when I'm buying from the UK.

In my local fabric shop, pattern sales last for about three weeks.  You may find that what you put in the basket has disappeared when you go back.

The sales can last for various lengths.  They are set by the pattern companies themselves and do vary from a few days to several weeks.  And no, the shops are not allowed to tell  the customers.  :)

@Vezelay the current Vogue sale apparently lasts until 15th March. The Weaverdee website always gives the end date of pattern sales. It's the only place  I know of that does that. I always check there to see the end date- quite handy.

Thanks all. That's very handy info indeed @Tamnymore - good to know. I tend to gather stuff in my basket(s) and it's annoying to return and find the sale has ended and your lovely bargains have vanished as @UttaRetch says. Now forewarned :).

I've got 4 metres of this upholstery velour, which I think might work.

@charlotte, I LOVE your fabric.  I looked at Vogue 9040 when it first came out, but don't like any of the views.
