Title: Vogue 1390
Post by: sewmuchmore on April 27, 2019, 19:42:46 PM
Just finished. I know I have said before I don't do instructions, which seems to horrify people, so for the purpose of making this I did start to follow the instructions. Very strange they were too, far too many raw edges for my liking. See the photo of the bottom/side bands pinned to the front, you are just supposed to sew these on as they are! Soon gave the instruction sheet the heave ho and put the bands on using the burrito method (2nd photo). I didn't have enough fabric to self line the side bands so used some grey cotton. It is also lined with silver grey poly lining. I did have to shorten the pattern by about 4 inch (which a lot of people have had to do when you read the pattern review).
@Francesca recognise the fabric?
