I do like to keep a good stock of basic thread colours and was browsing eBay.
I found a seller doing ten 1000m reels of Mara for £45, you could pick your own colours from a range of blues, reds, greys etc, just what I was looking for.
I see it is Mara 100 rather than the 120 I usually get as an equivalent to Sew it All. Now I get confused with thread weights and tend to stick with what I know. I’ve had a quick Google and it seems it is fine for sewing seams which is what I want.
Can anybody tell me if I’m making a whoopsie before I spend £45.

@Ellabella Guetermann SewAll is the domestic put-up of Mara 100. Same thread different size reels.
SewAll (https://consumer.guetermann.com/en/product-finder/sew-all-thread)
Mara 100 (https://industry.guetermann.com/en/products/product-finder/mara-100)
The higher the number the finer the thread (except with silk which uses denier sizes).
Mara 120 (https://industry.guetermann.com/en/products/product-finder/mara-120) is a little bit finer, more like the cones of overlocking thread rather than SewAll.

Thank you @BrendaP , I knew you’d come up trumps.
I can order with confidence. :meditation:

I've got loads of these bought off Ebay @Ellabella, they are fabulous value. I love the 120's because it doesn't matter what colour you really want, even a reasonable match will do because it seems to disappear into the fabric.'
I've not seen many 100's in bulk form so a bargain if you can get them. I've gone down as far 30 for some topstitching and I've got a few 70's.

Mara 30 = Topstitch
Mara 70 = Jeans (or heavy fabrics)
Mara 100 = SewAll
Mara 120 - fine fabrics or overlocking

I've made a note of those, @BrendaP , thank you!
