I have heard from my d.i.l that the girls will not be coming to stay in the summer holidays
They are now at the age.. 17,13,11 and 9 where friends are playing a bigger part of their lives and they are more independent. We don't mind at all, ( we'll see them in September ) and I thought way hay perhaps I can go to the FOQ after all
But...... no can do
I'd have to travel by National Express and the times don't work at all It would necessitate 2 nights in a hotel , plus fares,food,tickets and spending money ... I just can't afford it at this late stage
However.....perhaps next year will be doable as I can get everything well in advance and I won't be spending out to go to Exeter in April as it wasn't very good this year.
So... start saving peeps and perhaps some of us will be able to get together August 2018
