I'm going to try really hard to do more of them this time. That's my NY resolution sorted. :D

I wasn't going to join in this time as I have plenty to be getting on with, but I've found myself choosing colours.

I think I will look for a few fat quarters that go well together so that perhaps all the blocks will get joined together at some point. I may have to send for some fossil ferns. I love them. Any excuse to buy a few. ;)

P!ease, please, pretty please could we also have some very, very simple beginner blocks with minimal cutting and twiddling :) Just looked at the bom and needed the smelling salts :'( and a stiff :gin:!!!

Snowgoose, why not make the hourglass block? You could follow the instructions on the first three rows.

That's brilliant! I can't buy quilting cottons, but I do have a nice mix of small charity shop remnants and offcuts, mostly from curtains, but could make up into place mats or a runner :)
The block would be a mix of colours, but I will be so happy if I can cut and sew shapes, I'll worry about colours another day!
