Goth Gardiner's entry 1

Pattern was self-drafted many years ago. 

Fabric was 1m of "scardey cat" from funki fabrics.

This fabric was quite thick with less stretch than I've used previously.  I should have made the pattern a bit bigger, but it's not tight enough that I feel inclined to unpick it.  Sleeves with that rouching mean that my fat arms are hidden, and that I don't need to worry about pattern matching.

I've taken it down to 323kg - that's not that big surely?  I thought the limit was a lot bigger.

I quite like v1683, and years ago might have bought the pattern, but now I have learned to draft my own probably won't bother.

@Manuela depends on whether I do the snakeskin dress as the weekend. That plan is more elaborate.

I am not sure if this counts as jungle ... It's "scardey cat" from funki fabrics. Younger cats in jungles don't you?

Unless you are sure that the girls will like cartoon polar bears, while the boys get something more "adult' I would make them all plain.

@SkoutSews  i haven't ever thought about 1 and 2 (I bought the machine with a bonus and she has yet to need servicing). The other things haven't been an issue, although I suspect that my machine has more manual features than the new ones today as I have to lift up my presser foot and set my tension manually.
