In the wardrobe / Re: Wardrobe switchover time?

I'm looking forward to the day when I can change (or at least add a few summery things) my wardrobe but it's gone cold, wet and windy again here and looks to be that way for at least another week so, no.  I hate having to give up my boots but I may think about tucking them away by the end of the week.

Wow.  A fantastic collection of quilts.  I very much like the chicken one.
It must have been a huge job to set up the exhibition - well done.  I presume the little group of men helped with that ( or are they too shy to show us their quilts?  :) )

Our guild had a wonderful, successful show yesterday. I couldn't be more proud of every quilt displayed and everyone who made the show possible.

 Of course, I want to show you every picture, but there are far too many.

So instead, I am including a link to our Facebook page. You can click on as many pictures as you like. The first 2 posts on the page are devoted to the show.

I keep thinking it’s time to put the winter coat away, but then I do the school pickup with a twenty min wait between Key Stage  1 and Key Stage 2, definitely not the right time yet.

That was really interesting. I’d never heard of Sanquhar gloves and I’ve lived in Scotland all my life. The woman recording the patterns seems to be a quilter too, from the picture of the cushions on her sofa.

Yesterday in the garden in a short sleeve t shirt my arms got slightly brown, so today I suncreamed before going out briefly then coming in to put on a fleece. When May be oot then I might cast a few cloots but my year round uniform is jeans & a top except for those few days on a sunny holiday when the knees & arms are uncovered. It's time to put the boots & parka away though I reckon.

@Tamnymore @HenriettaMaria

As in the probably apocryphal 'How do you spell your surname?' 'Pa'erson. With two ts.'

For those unfamiliar with the pronounciation, Sanquhar is pronounce SAN-ker, sometimes with the k replaced with a glo'al stop ;-)
