I’ve completed my flora blocks, and starting to cut out bits for my Braciosaurusessessesess.  Hope to do more a bit later, just giving my ‘cutting table back’ a rest.

Your fox looks so cute. I’m sure my dinosaurs would love to be friends with it. And if it annoys them, then they might eat it. lol. @Ouryve

I’ve been working on my dinosaurs quilt. I’ve made the blocks for all but one of the flora blocks, and that last one I have cut out the pieces. Once that is done it’s on to making the actual dinosaurs. Roooaaarrrrr.

@Bjay Any chance you could cut out a neat square around the burn and find an off cut to replace it with …… or swap it with a cut out from a hidden corner of the room?

I’ve made a start on making another dinosaur quilt, same pattern as the last one I made (Elizabeth Hartmann)using some of the same fabrics, and some other stash fabrics. Hoping to get the whole quilt without buying anything extra.

That was a community made blanket. Various members of this site made and gifted each block. I’ll try and find the link for you to see how it worked. @Sara-S

Somewhere on this thread is the makings of it.

Thanks for the compliments.

@Sara-S granddaughter was born in mid January. All good and healthy, and a cuddly 8 lbs plus.

@realale I have been known to lunch at The Nags Head on occasion. Lovely pub.

I’ve made my bedroom curtains, today. They just need hanging and hemming.

I’ve opened my embroidery software and made a file of the baby’s name enclosed in a very simple heart outline, and saved it to a USB.
Might even manage to sew it out. Maybe.

@Flobear I live in Malvern, which is about 20 miles or so away. Not quite on the doorstep, but close enough for shopping purposes.

THANKYOU

The fabric was bought at Doughtys in Hereford, but they do online sales as well.

I’ve completed my first make of the year. It’s a cotton lining, elastic  at the corners, and a mattress cover, for a wicker baby basket. Baby should be here this month.
