Since this morning when I click on to the forum it looks really strange. It's a bit garbled and difficult to read. Anyone else having issues?
I'm using IE browser. It happened a couple of times last week but righted itself within minutes. I've logged out and back in with no difference. I'm using the default theme as well.
If I go to Firefox it appears as normal.....

Are you really using IE rather than Edge? I don't have IE installed on either of my computers so I can't check it out. The site looks fine to me in Edge, but we can't really do anything if there are problems in IE because IE is very, very out of date - the last version was released in 2013.
-
I'm still on W7 which doesn't support Edge. I'm on the latest version of IE an have had no problems until now. Everything else I've looked at today is normal which I why I wondered if something was up.
If I change themes they look the same on IE as in Firefox.
-
Unfortunately we can't support IE as it's too old now. However it would seem odd that something would have changed, as we haven't done any recent upgrades. Unfortunately it's impossible for us to tell as it's an unsupported browser.
Can you provide a screenshot?
-
It's odd that it has just happened today with no changes made though. I'll have to change themes.
-
Which theme are you seeing the problems on?
-
It's the default theme.

@Helen M Does the refresh change anything? The other thing is does the text appear smaller/bigger? If so it could be that it has been reduced/enlarged accidentally. Holding down the control button and pressing 0 on the numeric pad would bring it back to default. It's worth a try. :)
-
If you can provide a screenshot, that's really the only way we can work out what might be happening.
-
I've just checked out the original again using Firefox.
The avatars are on the right side of the screen and the text is slightly smaller but that is marginal.
Not sure if I can do a screen shot.

@Lilian Just done a 'refresh' and it's back to normal. Phew that was really strange.
Sorry I missed that as some of the text was sort over printing each other in places.
-
@Helen M glad that worked :)
-
@Lilian so am I! I don't know why I didn't think to do that as I use that function regularly.
@Francesca I posted because I'm sure I'm not the only member still using Windows 7 and therefore can't use Edge as a browser. It happened a couple of times last week but when pressing 'back' or using the 'home' it righted itself immediately. This didn't happen yesterday hence my post. All the other sites I used were normal.
-
@Helen M I still have Windows 7 but only ever use Chrome ( never even heard of Edge ) It is always ok for me.
-
I'm looking to switch to Chrome but need to tidy up my favorites before exporting them over!
Edge is the later Microsoft browser that goes with W10 (maybe 8 as well?) it's not compatible with W7

Apologies, as I said there is not a lot we can do without a screenshot as that points us in the right direction of what the error may be, and on top of that we can't support IE any more as it's too old and also insecure.

It's still safe and supported until Jan 2020, the same as W7. Some sites run slow with it though.
