Title: Bye bye for a couple of weeks.

DH and I are off in our little off road pop top for a few weeks to do some bush/beach camping and then when I get home I'm going to be sewing on the old treadle for a bit...not patchwork or quilting  :( .   For each of my grandchildren, when they are born, I sew them a couple of keepsake items like a cushion cover and use their great great grandmothers' treadle so they have something made on it. (Maybe one day I'll get the courage up to do a quilt with it.) Old sentimental softy I hear you say!  :D See you all in a few weeks.

Lovely idea with the treadle, I really enjoy using mine, and don't use them often enough.

I'm back!  Mr.Ruby and I had a lovely time away camping down at the beach and I even got to stick my little nose into a couple of Patchwork and Quilting shops along the way.  8) Didn't buy anything but enjoyed the lookie-lookie.

I'm tempted! Still have the treadle sewing to get on with, but am hopefully planning to knock that over this coming weekend. haha... a "sob-along"...I rather like the idea of a communal tearing up!!!!!
