@SewRuthieSews my frame is 10foot long .my machine has a 15”throat once you have loaded your quilt you do not have to move it through the machine the machine glides across the quilt .I only do free motion quilting

On my frame today lone star quilt I am doing it as a hug quilt for our DD who is going through chemo and is very down .we can’t get to see her so I thought a hug quilt would help

@Gernella if you put a strip of greaseproof paper under your seam them sew it stops the machine grabbing the fabric
