Hello and welcome @Clduk  this is a lovely place for advice and encouragement and of course chatting about and showing our makes. Here in Ipswich we have Franklins for fabrics and all things crafty but I buy online mostly from Croft Mill or Minerva. Look forward to seeing your sewing.

Knock knock, can I come in?  At last I have started, I am cutting out a pair of summer trousers from pale green linen, am waiting for suitable thread and zip before I can actually sew them.  This isn't taking too long so maybe I can cut out the dressing gown tomorrow because I thought I could use some of the cotton lawn for the waist facings and pocket bags of the trousers.

Hello, I haven't got any sewing to do but I have found the dressing gown pattern and have sorted out the pieces I will need and have pressed them flat as they were very crumpled. I have been thinking about what to make with the pale turquoise linen I bought recently, skirt or trousers    Does that count as a sewing pursuit? Maybe tomorrow I will cut out the dressing gown pieces. Enjoy your afternoon
