I have sewn the leg seams of my red trousers but it is too hot and sticky to try them on now, I"ll do that later.  I need a cold drink before I put the machine away, more sewing tomorrow.

I am slowly working on these and have mentioned them in the Sewing Club but didn't start a thread here, I am using McCalls 6901 which I have used many times. So now the leg seams are tacked ready for a check of the fit, my weight and body shape (tummy) have been fluctuating lately but I am sure they will be ok as there is a bit of stretch in the fabric. Lovely bright red corduroy.

Thanks @Ohsewsimple, luckily I don't bleed for long and the tiny speck was inside the seam line.

I'll join you Lowena, I am now going to put a fresh bobbin in my machine and carry on with the tiered skirt, it looks like rain outside and quite breezy.

Beautifully made and a lovely present for your great niece.

It is finished except for the sleeve hems but.... it is rather too tight in the  bodice!  I know I have put on about half a stone over the last couple of years but as this was a new pattern to me I should have measured myself but I didn't, that'll teach me. So I'll try to slim my midriff down somehow so more exercise is required I think      I can wear it but I'll have to cover up with a cardi to hide the bulgy bits
