Overlockers & Coverstitchers / Lidl overlockers
« on: October 03, 2019, 17:09:55 PM »
Lidl has some Singer overlockers for £129. I've heard good reports from a friend who has bought one before. Just thought someone might be interested.

Yes please. I would be pleased to have them. I might try my nearly blind mother with them. She can do rugs which sounds to be a similar movement. Maybe. Thanks

Hello. Are the dragonflies and the embroidered denim all cotton, please? If so, may I have them?

I have find find one of these in the charity shop. It's so beautiful. Now I don't need it. But....See above. Looked up the serial number and it's dated 1952ish. It's £110. Is that reasonable?

Thank you all. I have to say the stuffing method is easier. Jam and cr(e)am is a good description and I had pretty much given up on the rolling before I wrote yesterday. I also read it with the added e and was looking for scones.  :cake: Nearly finished it yesterday. Just need to decide on a binding colour now and then it's done.  :D

I'm just (attempting) to quilt my first large quilt. Rolling sides in the approved manner (ish) but it's not easy.  >< Using walking foot purchased at FoQ so it looks alright I think? But I'm losing track of where I'm up to...

I'm the one on the far right with the bee-oo-tiful blue and orange quilt. I hasten to say I didn't make it just had the pleasure of holding it up for the photo. I'm home now after a wonderful weekend. It was lovely to meet up with several TSP ladies (though I missed Imself this afternoon).  :( And thank you to Imi for organising the Italian meal on Thursday for 9 of us. It was my first visit to FoQ but I'm already planning for next year. I would like to be involved in the project Linus idea though I would rather not be in a competition. Anyway, I'll go back to looking at my plunder. Lovely. :D

I'll be there every day - so I'm one of the mystery folks.  :D Really looking forward to it. Never been before. Looking forward to meeting some of you lovely TSP-ers.

Sewing Machines / New Bernina

I'm considering replacing my old (but very reliable) Bernina 830 with a new B570 QE. Any thoughts, please, people?
