Yep, me!!
It was the same shock last year when I discovered that 2022 was the same distance from 1970 as 1918 to 1970. When I was growing up 1918 was ancient history!!

A Good Yarn / Re: Keeping track

Row counters are a great idea.  But the only time I’ve used them I forgot to turn them!
Nothing to cure poor memory is there?
Sorry, no.
Plus - it gets worse.

Thank you all.
I think I have worked out a combination of suggestions that will work for me.

I am getting back to knitting after many years (and I only did very simple things then) and panicked when the 'simple' pattern I had suddenly looked complicated.

Very basic returning knitter here.

Any advice please in keeping track of where you are on a pattern?

Oh she is beautiful and looks in remarkable condition.
Everything just like Mummy's, the packaging, instruction book etc.

However I see there is a 222k being sold apparently for the same price and that would tempt me far more.

To be fair they have obviously gone for a specific 'look' for that photo shoot.

I think that is one of the most unflattering pics of her I have seen.
