I accept the challenge, @Lowena , @Iminei .  I've not finished more quilts than I have finished.

Now I've found a pattern and am sorting fabric.  Starting has never been a problem, though.

I wonder if being smaller would mean I'm more likely to get it finished?

Patchwork & Quilting ... Welcome to the Darkside / Re: A Boom

Not thought that far ahead yet Pearl as I didn't even know if people would be interested. Once we decide to start we would give people at least 2 months to make blocks...

In that case, I'm in.

What would the time frame be?  I'd love to join in but would not be able to commit the time at the moment.

Deceptively simple, dear @Lowena , plus - no sewing up.

A Good Yarn / Alternative to mitred square blanket

I previously made a mitred square blanket for DD and am toying with the idea of knitting another.  DD’s is random and I’d like to make one that is less so.  I wondered if anyone knew of something that is similar.  Would love it if it looked like a quilt pattern.  I’ve seen one that looks like a shadow quilt and another that looks like a half log cabin.  TIA

Fun with Fabric / Re: String of fabric
« on: May 02, 2021, 13:38:30 PM »
You don’t need an excuse to use a string of fabric.  Special occasion, outdoor eating area, across front of dresser, anywhere, anytime.  If you want bunting, let it roll.

That’s beautiful, @Stitches .  So bright and your quilting really enhances it.  I’m sure she’ll love it.

Does anyone buy wadding in bulk? Can you recommend a supplier?   I have a gazillion quilts ready to be sandwiched in my quest to finish something.  TIA

Yep, no getting changed out of your PJs, no schlepping off to the NEC.  Just sitting here with a glass of ice water and a piece of cake, enjoying a slow stitch workshop.

The only kit I'm tempted to buy is the indigo dyeing kit, just because I fancy having a go.  I'm also interested in the spiral bargello table mat, but I think I have enough fabric for that.
