Anything you eat on your birthday has zero calories, @Celia   :cake: :cake: :cake:

A slap and a kick for being so quick, @justpottering .

I’m enjoying a quiet time as no one is up yet, even  :woof:.

I’m going to visit my mum and then will make the next boom block.  I could just copy and paste that sentence for the whole week.  I only have one boom block to make after this one so hope to get them in the post in the next couple of days.   :)

Have a good day, all.

Good to hear from you, @Lemon Syllabub , and I’m pleased to hear the good news about your mum.

I’m going to take my mind off the fact that I’m not at FoQ by sewing.

Have a good day, all.

Current Projects / Re: Christmas Craft 2021
« on: July 28, 2021, 15:02:45 PM »

Now, for the uninitiated ..... I do this every year,

July - read Datcat's thread and think, "I'm going to start early this year."
mid December - start projects
late on Christmas Eve evening/early Christmas morning - frantically quilting and sewing on binding.  Resolve to start earlier next year.

I have a head start this year as the placemats I was making last year only need quilting and binding, like so many things in my life, and would have been finished last year if I hadn't contracted that wretched virus.  I'm also planning to make some fabric gift bags.  Do you have deja vu?  I may have said this before.  I saw a lovely fabric gift box on one of the crafting channels last week so might give that a go.

Good morning.

The sun is shining.

I’m going to pop to Warwick this morning.  May buy fabric.

Will visit my mum this afternoon, then finish the Boom block for @RJR_38 .  Then I’ll have used all my ideas so will have to be have a good think about what I’m going to do for the other three.

Have a good day, all.

Oooh, @RJR_38 , they're gorgeous.

I've finished my block for @Efemera today, but I'm having technical difficulties so can't show you.  I've used the same pink as you, @RJR_38 .  I've used it in the block for you too so I'm glad you like it.
