It could be either the foot control or the power supply, I would be inclined to try a new foot control as I think this is the most likely culprit, they are not usually repairable these days unless you are very lucky and have someone willing to break the rules!!!

Thank you, not really although I do refer to her as a she and did call her little betty once but I am not sure it’s stuck.  I have actually used on quite a few fabrics and she has performed perfectly 

One of the things I love about the Babylock Gloria is although it seems fancy and has a few electronic things in essences it’s still mechanical and yes if the puffer threader does not work you can still thread it manually.

I do think the threading is something to watch out for, I don’t think I have found an Overlocker I can’t thread reasonably quickly but I have definitely found some I don’t want to thread.

Yes @Ouryve i agree, I can move my new little Bernina around easily so that’s no problem but now I have a home for both the straight stitch machine and the overlocker.

@Celia  I have KwikSew 3122  which I made up using the Large which is supposed to fit a 42-44 chest but it came up too big for my OH, if you would like it please PM me and I will put it in the post to you.

That’s a lovely offer but my son is between a small and a medium so I am sure it would be too large.  Thanks
