In the wardrobe / Re: Decisions, decisions- what should I do?
« on: August 13, 2020, 06:57:50 AM »
I'd be inclined to leave it as it is, it's a nice basic shape, but then I do prefer a simpler style. Rather than hem it, if you bind it you would keep some of the length

What about adding a couple of pockets, maybe up high as on the Mimi G, or on the hips. Or a kangaroo pocket?

I've not slept much either   :P

@sewmuchmore I had trouble with my address on their site, I put the house number after the street name and that worked  ;)

@EdTheMaker great shirt and a great fit too  ;)

You deserve to be proud of it, and isn't it a parent's right to embarrass their children....?

Snoozi Soozi's entry

I made a jumpsuit using Sew Me Something Cressida pattern. It's viscose which I purchased from the winkelwaggen people last year, and it hangs and drapes beautifully.

I added length to the bodice making mobility and sitting a little easier. I added button tabs to the trouser bottoms to enable me to turn up the hems. And I of course made a matching face mask  ;)

Ommissions were the back pockets and the sleeve cuffs, the fabric is too lightweight for those to be necessary.

I've worn it a few times already and am v chuffed with it, it cheers me up everytime   0_0

Fill a hot water bottle with water and freeze, take to bed with you and cuddle it. Bliss  ;)
