@fajita

That looks amazing and I'm glad to see you're making use of my complete cop-out in the Accessories Swap.

 :)

@William

My parcel from Deutschland (Deutschland uber alles) arrived and what a lovely parcel it is. Some lovely handmade goodies and a pair of Victorinox scissors. I was cutting threads off selvedge last night just to have a play with them. Thank you so much for your generosity, Sir.

@fajita

Looks pretty poor hanging up like that. I knew I should have sent more. At least I cut it straight. Ish.

I can always send you more if you run short on a project. Just let me know.

 :thumbsup:

@fajita

You push one end in and slide the end of the bit that pops out down the back of your needle. When it reaches the eye it pops through. You attach your thread to the bit that pops through and pull it through the eye. It's shaped to sit it perfectly behind the needle and slide it down.

Have you stopped drooling yet and put it all in the bin?!  :laughing:

@TartanPaint

I found a little extra present on my desk I missed earlier. I’m not exactly sure what it is? Some sort of felting tool? If I depress the white bit, a pointy metal bit pokes out.

@fajita

It's a needle threader. I forgot I sent it too.  :laughing:

@Acorn

Yes, it’s two different kinds of the same style of print. I have loads if you want some. Mates…..or in this case forum rates. I don’t even know how much it goes for. I just chopped some off for @fajita with a sense of HUGE relief I had come up with something to send that wasn’t knicker elastic and a pin cushion  :laughing:

@fajita

I'm glad they got there unscathed and that you like them. Had no idea what to send you and told @Iminei off for drawing me against one of the best sewists on the forum so I had to go trawling through your posts to see what you were into. Fabric? I can do fabric. As you'll see I can do random cat motif things and knicker elastic.

Enjoy  <3

And let's not forget @Iminei and her brucie bonus. Above and beyond and completely thoughtful, as we've come to expect from our benevolent forum Dictator..... I mean owner. Thanks a lot, Imi.

Confirmation my wee care package was posted to my swap-mate today well in time for 1st Class delivery tomorrow. I don't think they'll have any issue deciphering what it is when they feel the weight of the box (or that if they shake it nothing happens). I just hope they like what I chose for them  :)

I hope everyone has a nice Saturday morning opening their goodies. I'm looking forward to receiving mine  :dance:

@Iminei

Mine is leaving tomorrow for delivery Saturday morning. Nothing received yet.

I plan on making and buying. I've no idea what my swappee has or doesn't have so I'll probably make them something and buy them a few bits n bobs to throw in the bin as soon as they get them.  :laughing:

@fajita @Iminei

I heartily support both ideas. I'll be really grateful for what I get; just the thought of someone taking the time to sign up and do it is amazing to me.

Add me to the list tentatively please too @Iminei

@Iminei

Wasn't this a program on the telly years ago with John Nettles? Tiny little village but everyone who lived there had massive houses, no visible means of income and were busy murdering each other to death. His friends we boring but his wife was nice.

Very nice quilts, though. My impetus has stalled somewhat lately. With the restrictions being lifted slowly but surely I'm getting hammered with meetings and projects. Don't be mad at me. I'll get back to abusing fabric soon.  :)

@Acorn

Glad some of you are finally acknowledging the part you're all too keenly taking in my ongoing bankruptcy. Just this morning I went to check my balance and I only had money for one more machine.... :laughing:

Oh look tis him that likes to ask questions again....

**covers ears to avoid hearing the collective groan**

The prices here are a bit baffling. If I pay the £7 a month do I get access to this class as well as all the others or is it one of those cons where you pay £7 for a 'selection' of classes and you pay extra for the ones people actually want?

I've got some lovely stuff I could turn into jammies and I like the idea of a sew-a-long. We could call it the Warm Arse Competition or the Campaign to Avoid Cold Arses.

 :laughing:

What a shame. Having to give up on your passion because of a poxy virus. She has some nice stuff and I get paid a week today. I'll see what i can order from her to help.
