I call upon all Ye Darkside Star Block Swappers

Yes Ye, from the year of 2015 !!!
(WOW! Was it really that long ago?)

I proclaim that I, Iminei
am finally going to complete my Star Swap Quilt
and humbly beg of TWO more Blocks from ye.

Therefore if it pleases ye, could ye please avail me of ...

A SINGLE Half Square Triangle Block in the colours of Fire and Sun

and also

A SINGLE Half Square Triangle Block in the colours of Fire and Sun and also of Plain BLACK

The measurement of ye blocks, unfinished, should be 3 1/2"

Sorry for that bit of silliness but I do wonder if those of you that took part in our Star Block Swap of 2015, would make me just two more HSTs  which I would use to piece a final star for the backing fabric.

I realise we have lost two of our Darksiders, Fabric Floosie and Quilty Sisty and I doubt Sakar has time now that Wolfgang has taken over her life but maybe there are a couple of new Darksiders who might step into the breach???

Hi @Iminei , that’s no problem. Am I right in thinking you just want one half square triangle with 2 ‘fire’ colours and another one triangle half black, half fire? If so , then I’ll send 2 of each as when I make them there are always 2 of each.

I finished mine 2016 (I think so)  :D

@Iminei: I don't promise anything, but I will have a look to the blocks. 2 HST shouldn't be that time consuming ;)

I must be extremely thick but I really really don't understand what it is you want. Triangles of fabric, a square made up of 2 hsts or a star block. Please post a photo

or

one pair of triangles sewn together (red and orange) and another pair of triangles (fire and black) ?

Oops, sorry @Lowena, I’ve just been out posting them.
Yes I knew what Imi wanted, but she also posted photographs above and explained that they should look like them, but in different colours.

She wants-

One block made out of 2 triangles :half black ,half  ‘fire’ colour, i.e.red, orange.

One other block made out of 2 triangles : half one ‘fire’ fabric, half a different ‘fire’ fabric. Each block should measure 3.5” square.

If you’ve ever made half square triangle blocks before , they should take you only a few minutes to make.

So, here is, what I just made. I am sewing in metric units, so I made them a little bit bigger and Iminei can cut then to the size, which she needs.

I hope, I understood it now correctly  ;)

@Iminei  I've put two sets in the post - I just cut one black square and three different fire colours, cut them all in half diagonally and sewed together - but I didn't trim, you can do that to get the exact size needed.  If you get too many I won't be upset if they are ditched.
