Title: Wanted - Pattern for Tabard-style Apron
Post by: annieeg on March 09, 2020, 11:36:14 AM
I've been looking for a tabard-style apron but can't find a ready-made in Cotton - only poly cotton mix or 100% poly which will be far too hot to use in the summer.
Does anyone know of a pattern ?
I found loads with neck-straps but I want an overhead apron.
any suggestions gratefully received.
Thanks,
Annieeg

Janet Clare and Jenni Smith have apron patterns that might be the style you are looking for:

There are also some free instructions for similar style aprons, but I don't know what the sizing is like:

@annieeg
I have KwikSew 2311 - View A, which has a sort of wraparound apron, , which I can lend you if it is suitable.  Let me know and I will put it in the post for you.

Free (https://web.archive.org/web/20110116092903/http://www.quiltmag.com/sewing-projects/quilt-almanac-2011-oven-proof-apron/) copy of the style.  PDF link still works.

Thanks to all for  your suggestions.
@So Chic:  I shan't need to borrow your pattern as I've got what I need from the free pdf links, but thanks for the offer.
FYI the link from @Kwaaked really seems to fit the bill so I've printed off that pdf.
Thanks again all. :D

@annieeg
I had a look at @Kwaaked’s suggestion and I’m pleased to hear it’s what you wanted.
