Please report any issues with the new "inline images" feature in this thread to keep the Tech Tutorials post tidy.

@UttaRetch apologies I didn't make it clear. Please look at the new feature in the Tech Tutorials forum. This is meant to be the place to report issues with this new feature.

I've just used inluine images for the first time and it worked just fine but I also ended up with the thumbnail at the bottom.  My error I'm quite sure, I must have clicked the inline image bit too late in the procedure.  I'll pay more attention next time.

Yep that is correct. Unfortunately it's not possible to not have the thumbnail as the images still need to be attached to the post.

I put up two threads in The Dark Side.
Two photos loaded to the first post but the two I tried to put in the second post didn't load.
All four photos taken with the same camera and uploaded to my PC at the same time.

Did they load as thumbnails on the post or just not in the post content after they were placed inline?

As you were - it loaded this morning  :S
