Sewing Machines / Re: My new Machine

Partners in Crime…. How about Agatha from Agatha Christie?

Not to get into anything political, but on this side of the pond there is an issue with women over a "certain age" and of a particular skin tone that have had a moniker assigned to them beginning with the letter "k".

I suppose the make equivalent is Dick.

What a handy Landlord to have and such fab outfits and beautifully modelled too!!! Thank you for posting your pics.

We stayed in a lovely resort in Sabah some years ago now whilst holidaying in Borneo, and it was probably one of the best holidays we had.

I look forward to seeing your new summery outfits when you’ve made them. I’ve got a Juki F600 and a Brother Innov-is 1300 and they’re both good Japanese brands. Plus you’ll have access to fantastic fabric stores out there too, you lucky thing!

My Swoon Patterns Bonnie Bag with a cross body strap.
It has additional pockets inside for my phone and a small short depth pocket for my car keys so they don’t get lost in the bottom of the bag. I used an old denim skirt and the print fabric is a velvet curtain off cut. The purple is a faux leather fabric. When I made the strap I decided to play with some multi coloured purple polyester thread. I did want to put some zig zag stitches on the strap for decoration, but I couldn’t get it to work. It kept missing stitches. I tried using my walking foot and a leather needle, but still no joy.

You look amazing!  :loveit:

They’re gorgeous dresses and the shoes look fab too.

I can’t really tell what hairstyle you’ve gone for in the first pic, but a chignon or victory rolls would work really well with those outfits. (I love vintage hairstyles).

Mine has arrived…yippeeeee.

I had to wrestle it off DH as he was keen to see what was inside the squishy package.

Thank you lovely sewing person. It is stashed safely and awaiting the grand unveiling.
