Title: Single Fold Bias Tape

Hi

i'm new to sewing but want to have a go at making at a top at the weekend but struggling to find 1/2" single fold bias tape in black.  Can i use bias binding instead?

Bias tape is the same as bias binding - if you can't find single fold, you can always iron double fold tape flat.   As @Francesca says, it's easy to make your own but for your first try, it might be easier to buy some.
