Title: Janome Memory Craft 9000
Post by: Peaofsweetness on April 14, 2019, 14:42:25 PM
Hi I’m looking at buying a second hand machine.  I’m currently sat in front of it to test the stitches.  Frustratingly although stitching well the bobbin thinks it’s the top stitch and the top thread thinks it’s the bobbin ie the stitching is upside down!!! Any suggestions ASAP?

@Peaofsweetness Don't buy this.  This is a very old machine (in terms of computerised machines) and is no longer supported.  You can't get the parts for it if it goes wrong.  I have one and her main board went and she is now defunct.  My sewing machine man advised that when he previously serviced her, (there was a problem with the stitching) advising she may not be repairable, but got her working again.  The board went a few months later and that was the end of her.  He couldn't get one anywhere.

Oh no I’ve just seen this!  I felt really bad for the seller and bought it!  I’m just hoping I can get it to work properly!

Just a thought Missie.  Do you have any of the embroidery cards?
