All finished, just need to chuck it in the washer but that will have to wait until I get a new dryer.

It's so lovely and bright, just what we need for these miserable times.

Wonderful. :)

@Efemera That's lovely - and to me it's what patchwork is really all about; using up scraps.
:loveit:

I like the design. Does it have a name? The red binding was a perfect choice. It looks so cozy.

Its basically a strip block quilt isnt it ?? Four quarters for each block ?
Whatever its called it is glorious and looks perfect with that Red binding.

Every time I look at these I think, no way could I complete one of these. They are beautiful and look like there is hours and hours of time in them. Simply stunning.

@Efemera I may have inquired previously but don't recall a reply if I did. The brain is currently over everything.
Please be a dear and give us the rudiments again. I think it's coming back to me. Did you sew strips together then cut your wedges? Was it 1½inch strips? Am I thinking of something else? Hmm, that would be good with longer strips. Did you draw the triangle on paper then grab pieces long enough to cover, stitch together then trim? Or did you.....
I'm sure there's more than one way to get to done with this.

@Renegade Sewist theres a diagram in the other thread that explains it a bit better but start with a white strip 11/2” and sew strips either side And then cut your square

@Efemera that's right! I was over complicating it! I remembered the 1½ " bit but forgot you did a square. Here I was going to be sewing all these triangles together...
Thanks darling!

@Efemera you realize of course that I'm visualizing this in scrap Hallowe'en fabric don't you? I've got 60 to 70, more if we add in all the orange and black stripes, dots and similar.
One more thing for the "not happening" "to do" list.
