We tried both of those, and the PIN we always use for non-financial things (just in case we had set it and forgotten) and then got locked out.

We can reset it, but I have to dig out our account number, and so far I've been too lazy...  :[

We recorded The Dressmaker but our Sky box won't let us watch it without entering a PIN that we haven't set.   -<

This is my pattern (Bootstrap 45179) and my first lot of fabric (from my stash).

My (current) intention is to make the first one pretty much like the pattern.  I may vary the sleeves and/or the neckline, and I almost certainly won't put the zip in because I find that generally I don't need them, and having had a frozen shoulder a couple of years ago I'm not keen on anything that does up at the back.  I will pin it and try it on first, and add a slit and a button if necessary.  I'm not curvy enough, and it's not fitted enough to need anything more.  I think.

The second one will probably be in a plain fabric (I'm trying to ration my use of denim, but maybe...) and will be tunic length with a deep ruffle around the bottom and probably the sleeves as well.

The third one I haven't really figured out yet.  I'm hoping inspiration will strike as I make the other two.  Probably a top.

Either two or three will involve embroidery, probably around the neck, on the pockets if it has them.

I may get the first one cut out today, but I do have one last pair of curtains to make and then around 40 metres of hems to do by hand...  :o

Dragonfly Fabrics have it listed at £18, although it is out of stock.  That sounds bad enough to me!

(The Bristol dress and top pattern from the opening post, that is.)

And I thought I was being so clever when I started doing exactly the same thing!   :P

(I was - I just wasn't the only one!)

The little grip rings I ordered for my quilting ruler were restricted to over 18s as well!

Hahaha!  See, it happens to everyone.  You go onto a fabric website looking for something specific and come away having bought something completely different.    :D

You can get those in The Range in a variety of colours (including green and black last year) and very cheaply.  They're incredibly useful - I use them as planters (with holes drilled in the bottoms) for things where the pots won't show, and for vegetables where the look of the pots doesn't matter.

That's amazing - well done!

So you can teach an old machine new tricks...  0_0

Patchwork & Quilting ... Welcome to the Darkside / Re: Slip sliding away...

I've just had a look a the enlarged picture, and they are rings.   :)  (Then I read the name on the packet in the picture, which said 'Non-Slip Adhesive rings'   :o )

I have some stick on thingies ordered.   :)   I think they're dots rather than rings, but I'm impatient and so I had to get them from Amazon.

If I get any more rulers I think I will go for Omnigrip.
