so I made this...
My youngest daughter's favourite words seem to be "literally" and "Innit". Both make me cringe. But, I thought I'd wind her up. She wants a new pencil case for when the new school year starts.

She should at the very least be amused. Nice job Dad.
-
First class job of inserting the zip innit ;) ( see what I did there?)
-
what is it with the younger generation and the word literally ?
and people who start every sentence with So ....
-
That’s a great looking pencil case I am sure she will love it literarily
-
Brilliant, literally brilliant

So it's like you literally don't like the words literally and so?
That's like so literally sick. Innit.
-
A couple of years ago everything was 'obviously' even when it wasn't obvious.
-
Ah, but did you turn around and say to her...... then she turned around and said to you....
Used to literally make me laugh imagining everyone getting dizzy with all the turn arounds that went on.
So what phrase literally makes you cringe? That's a poser, innit?

When I was young we all started sentences with ‘Well’ . My mother used to say ‘ any more wells and there’ll be a flood!’ Every generation needs an annoying habit!
P.S. Pencil case is excellent!

DD has three degrees in English Literature. I enjoyed getting her a mug bearing the legend: 'I am figuratively dying for a cup of coffee.'

Love your humour, bet your daughter does too, though I'll bet she grumble to your face .

Today's anti boredom project was a new mask.

This completely cracked me up.
-
It's great. Can you breathe through it though?
-
Yep. It looks like pvc or something in the pic but is very much a cloth fabric. Polycotton if memory serves.
