This is lovely and so clever. I was wondering how the three blocks would fit into the design. The cornerstones are fantastic.

I have decided on my layout and started cutting sashing so I can sew the blocks into rows. I’m going to have to revise how to do cornerstones.

I’ve finished three all three of these but struggled to get a good photo. I’m looking forward to seeing the final layout of the quilt blocks.

I’m still working on this block but hoping to get it finished this week.

I finished mine last summer but have put it in the wash and taken photos.
I ran out of the blue fabric so used offcuts to make a pattern on the back.

I’m hoping to submit the one I did last summer. Is there an address to post it? I used shark fabric, a pale yellow and spotty blue. I struggled with some of the blocks but I think I’ve definitely improved in the last year with all the BOM practice. I will need to find it and take some photos.

I decided to make all five at one time rather than do a test first. Went well until near the end when I realised I had cut my centre squares 4 inch square. I’m looking forward to the next block. I’m going to have to order more background fabric.

I think I’ve caught up. I have made four blocks for block two and five blocks for block one. I thought that I had a week off and the mystery block three would be available on 24th April?
I find it difficult to get the right shade or colour when ordering fabric online so hoping to get to a shop if I don’t have suitable fabric for the block three.

I’m going for different purple gems as I was gifted a lot of purple fat quarters.

I’ve decided I quite like the fancy flying geese. After unpicking the first one they all decided to behave.

Thank you, I’ve corrected the mistake so it now says FF2.

I planning on doing this but I’m going to have to do the practice first.

I think this will be a practice or maybe I will end up making a second quilt with different shades of purple but either way I need to order some more fabric.

It is the fourth quilt I have finished but it is my first try at quilt as you go. I had previously only done blocks with squares and rectangles so I have learnt a lot of new skills doing this. Thank you.
