I recommend Fabulosew for printing PDFs,  they aren't expensive and are very helpful. If you email them with a query they reply almost instantly.

@Celia ,

I may have got the sock bug as well. Can you recommend sock yarn for spring/ summer socks? I would like to try some lighter yarn cotton or bamboo.

Lovely woolly wellies @Flobear !

I'm on a sock knitting roll. Here's a pair for me from West Yorkshire Spinners british wool.

I bought a small knitpro circular needle for this pair as I am having a lot of trouble with stitches falling off the DPNs when I turn the heel. It is a bit fiddly to use but I turned the heel at the first attempt so it's worth it!

DH has just pointed out how long the grass on the soaking wet lawn is. Does he expect me to rush out and cut it? He can't do it himself as he has very dodgy achilles tendons.

I'm not going to sewing group today, don't feel like it. I slept very badly and can't face sitting in the hall possibly masked. I will finish sewing my cushion, and try the shoulder pads on my September coat.

Starryfish's Entry#2

I like making 3 PACs so here is my 2nd.
Ottobre 5-2020 blouse in leopard viscose. The only modification I made was to add a double yoke, I make all my blouses and shirts with them,it gives a clean finish.
Ottobre 5-2021 skirt in the same fabric. I had enough to make the skirt about 2" longer, which was the only modification.

I can wear these as a  dress or with other items to expand their use.

You can't see the pattern in the main photo.

I made a Tessuti Lyon boiled wool jacket to go  with the blouse and skirt. It has raw edges and press fasteners,a nd was really fast to make. The colour looks red under the lights here, but is a much better match to the other garments in reality.

I like these pieces and they will get worn together, and with other items. I am actually wearing the blouse with the black cord jeans and and the white cardigan from the 1st 3 PAC at the moment.

Starryfish's Entry #1

Itch to Stitch Hepburn roll neck top in daisy print on black jersey - no alterations made to pattern
Style Arc Sandra straight leg jeans in black corduroy- I widened the legs about 1" as the fabric would not look right too close to the leg it is a large wale cord. I have made this pattern many times and the back is severely modified to fit my swayback and protruding bottom.
Ottobre 5-2015 - open cardigan in cable knit wool jersey. The pattern is a favourite heavily modded from the original kneelength with welt pockets and a belt.

I am pleased with this, and have been wearing them often since they were finished. The sleeves of the cardigan have grown a bit as the knit runs along the length. I may cut them a little shorter, or just turn them up.

After going to the pharmacy, petrol station(car running on fumes), and SM (twice,I forgot the milk and plant for tonight's WI meeting), I came home and snarled at Dh for his many and varied sins. Getting up late, not collecting the bins, getting glue all over his trousers etc, etc.
Of course then I needed him to make the printer speak to my laptop, so I could print the paperwork for tonight. He is very patient with me.
If many turn up tonight I will be surprised, 7 cancelled so far. Two shielding while waiting operations, one covid +ve, one husband +ve, 3 no reason.

Went to visit my Dad today minus DH who had a bad tummy overnight. I am not driving down the M1, M25 and M23 with a man with an upset inside. There are very few stopping places!

Dad wanted some trousers rehemmed , fine. I did them with some old thread and needle of mums. He also asked if I could take in some trousers 2" at the waist. I stood firm thinking of you all, they came from the charity shop for £6 anyway. He can easily take them back and get some more.

Morning, colder today. I need to ring Dad to rearrange my visit to him. I'm doublebooked on Thursday, there is a meeting I really should go to. It's only my sewing group tomorrow so that would be a better day if it suits him. Will have to wait until about 12 as he goes out on his mobility scooter nearly every morning.

@Bill, colour catchers are highly recommended! I use them for almost every wash, and especially for prewashing fabric. You should see the colour they turn with denim.

As we normally eat our dinner off our laps on the sofa, I am planning to make an insulated mat to stop the plate overheating my knees. I am going to practice quilting on it.

Went to DD's this afternoon as they are out of isolation now. GS loved his present and played with it for ages. It was a yellow transporter with 4 different trucks, he loves all motors. They have all been going out of their minds in their small flat for 10 days.

My bug has gone away as well, so normal life will resume!

I have actually completed 2 3PACs, I didn't think I would finish the 2nd one, so didn't mention it. The 2nd is  a blouse and skirt in a burgundy animal print, so can be worn as a dress, together with a boiled wool jacket. I'll get photos as soon as possible.

SILS's other pair. I had to redo the heel on the last sock several times, due to poor light and cold fingers.

I'm on a roll now, knitting myself a pair!
