The Haberdashery / Multi coloured overlocker thread?
« on: July 12, 2017, 12:08:27 PM »
I would like  to make a feature of the overlocking on some children's clothes by using multicoloured/variegated thread. I once bought some from Empress Mills, but can't see it any more. Does anyone know where I might get it please? I have seen plenty of embroidery thread. Would that work ok in the loopers?

Since changing to a different Bernina model I have a Straight Stitch Needle Plate for sale. I used it on a 580 model which has a 9mm foot. I believe it is also suitable for models 435,450,560 and 640.

£18 including postage.
(New price is £32)

I have a three year old Bernina 580 for sale which was serviced in November and still has four years guarantee to run (Frank Nutt in Birmingham will honour this)

It includes all the accessories listed with the new machine except the embroidery module. Plus 25 extra genuine Bernina bobbins. It includes a once used BSR (Bernina Stitch Regualtor) which retails at £450. (It regulates the stitch length in free motion quilting)

See listing for new machine here

It is in perfect working order and just has some signs of wear in the stitch plate area.

I am selling it because I have decided to buy a different Bernina machine. If you are interested, my preference would be for you to come and try it and pay cash or bank transfer if you are satisfied. I live in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire.

Price £1550. Please send me a PM with any questions.
