Made a cowl for myself then a friend asked for one.

the peach one was the first i made i didn't like it until i made the second one and realised i didn't read the pattern right about putting little stitches in to hold the braids together. The first one i done to tight.

I ordered 1 inch webbing because I had the 1 inch hardware already, but it's not big enough for my liking. So I went and ordered 2 inch cotton webbing and then found it hard to get 2 inch triglide but found one then it got lost in the post so now I have to wait for another set to come.
I wish I had a fabric shop near me that had all this stuff.

From an ex quilter coming into the lightside I have tried to use a scissors on a number of items but the bottom part ends up bigger than the top. I love my rotary cutter. Now for tricky curves I want to get myself a smaller rotary cutter because using the big one it feels like the blade is going to brake.

I'm trying to make small easy things that I can sell. I bought myself straws so I can leave them in the car to use when we get kfc or McDonald's I really hate the paper straws. I wanted to make little pouches to store them in.
So I tried one off YouTube but didn't like it and it ended up too small, I should have waited for the straws to come.

Yeah my aunt loves a string of fabric and was always trying to knit some herself but never stuck to it.
