Starryfish's 3rd Entry

Pattern- Pauline Alice Mini collection Dungarees in green stretch denim for my baby grandson. I made no alterations to the pattern apart from topstitching the edges of the bib and straps as I couldn't stop the facing rolling to the outside. It is faced in green and cream gingham.

They are intended to be worn with the tunic I made for entry 2.

@BrendaP , That's really pretty. Here's hoping you get to see baby Myah wearing it before the summers over.

  Starryfish's 2nd entry

The pattern is from Pauline Alice Mini Collection. This is the tunic, which is based on a Breton fisherman's
smock. It buttons down the back, and the pattern has a front opening with a button and loop which I omitted.
I made it from a remnant of green check cotton, it is for my DD's baby boy and I thought it safer for a 12 month old without the loop.

As my contribution to Enabling Darksiders, Empress Mills have 15% off Moda and 10% off batik and Uncorked today. :ninja:
They also reduced shipping to £1 for the UK.
If I was into Q, I would buy some, but I am battling my own stash!

I've got some navy fleece that I can make a hat, glove, scarf set for next winter.

306
My next items will be the Pauline Alice Mini collection of Top, dungarees and jacket for my DD's son.
https://www.paulinealicepatterns.com/en/kids/101-collectionmini1.html

I have cut out the top  from the scraps left from making a  green mini check shirt for DH, the dungarees will be  green stretch denim and the coat some green twill from my stash.

@Manuela Should I enter each separately?

307
That's a very pretty dress @BrendaP . My DIL is not a frill fan or I would make something like that for my DGDs. Any way they are rather sturdy little things!

Kwik Sew 3817- Men's Fleece top. This is View B but without the bicolour sleeve. I must have made about 6 of these.
I used Navy fleece with cobalt blue contrast, size M for my DH.
My coverstitcher did not like the fleece so I just used a twin needle on my sewing machine.

He has promised not to solder, paint, or plaster in it.

I've made three items so far, two from one set and one from the other. As soon as I finish all the things for the sewing for others contest, I'll make the cardigan from the 1st set.

I will probably take advantage as I want to make some summer trousers in a newer style.

Isabella is nice, but it isn't pure wool only 20%, 80% viscose. It is on the thin side as well. Fabric godmother sells it and will send samples if you want to try it.

Pattern- Style Arc Marley- no alterations apart from an FBA. This is the third time I have made this patter It is a boxy short shirt with no buttoned cuffs , just wide slits to the hem and cuffs. It is an easy sew.

The fabric is a fine cotton in a thin blue stripe just right for summer.

I often wear one of the previous versions open with a tank top underneath, and probably do the same with this one.

ETA- sorry, no idea why the images are upside down! I think they are clear enough any way.
