This is a lovely shape but I wish they'd added a sleeve option :(
-
I thought exactly the same thing, @annieeg . I love that style on me but can't go without sleeves. I'm not going to go to the trouble and expense of buying a pattern from Australia just to have to redraft the armhole and add sleeves so I'm giving that one a miss this time :(
-
Ooh yes even I like that. But agree, sleeves definitely!
-
Heh. I'm the opposite. Love it with no sleeves. I am always removing sleeves and pockets from things.
-
What a beautiful dress!

McCalls M7349 (free pattern in love Sewing magazine) looks similar and also has sleeves/no sleeves options.
-
I think that's for knits though.
See, that’s your extensive knowledge and experience showing. :loveit:
It didn’t occur to me to notice the difference. Oops. :S

Might have to get both of them! Love the interesting split princess seaming in the SA and the raglan sleeve in the McCalls.
Just looked at the price as a hard copy and the SA is a bit expensive considering I have many many princess patterns. Sure I can hack this myself. The McCalls is a freebie, I see. Can it be bought? Off to look.

The McCalls looks like a nice pattern but has raglan sleeves which as a very busty person look awful on me. I have a similar Neue Mode pattern to the Carnegie which has been on my list for ages as it also needs sleeves so will maybe get my lazy backside into gear and sort that out soon. Maybe  .
