Title: A trio of dresses
Post by: Fabric Lover on September 25, 2019, 09:37:39 AM
Hi, I’ve been away from here for a while, but I’m back! I have been sewing though, seem to have had a summer stuck on making dresses! They are my favourite thing to make especially for the summer.

First was a Closet Case Charlie Kaftan, this was my first ever Indie pattern and I love it.
Second was Vogue 1500 https://voguepatterns.mccall.com/v1500 The shoes are the wrong ones for this, don’t know what I was thinking!!

A little less sure about this one although I love the pattern. The main fabric was a linen which I washed a dried 3 times as recommended on a website ( which I now can’t find!

This was the website I mentioned earlier which recommended washing and drying linen 3 times to reduce wrinkles. It seems to work too. http://www.powersewing.com/blog/?post_id=49

It’s possible I heard about it here.
