Thanks so much for your kind comments. I will have a think.
I have some stuff to do in my house before I can embark on this.
But hopefully in a couple of months....

The Handful of Scraps Magic one ?

Thank you, super easy, super quick .... I made it for a tutorial on QAYG ... (which you BOMers better be boning up on ... the times approaching  )

Super easy & super quick? I usually do garment sewing. Ive had a quick look at your tutorial, It looks like I would need to buy a cutting board, rulers & stuff. If we are locked down this winter, it might be time to have a go.

I have one that I bought about 30 years ago. One of the best things sewing related things I've ever bought.

I recently made the SA Clare Pants & Montana midi dress. I was delighted with both. I made the dress twice , but can't wear them; they're dresses for warm summer days & summer has been fogotten here.

Here's my beautiful quilt on my spare bed. I may have to buy new bedding to show off the quilt better.

That fabric used to be made in Greater Manchester. The company ABC was originally A Brunnschweiler & Co which became part of Tootal. Their offices were in Manchester city centre & the mill was in Hyde. Around 30 years ago, through my job I was fortunate to visit both premises. At the mill & I saw the batik & screen printing in process & in the city centre offices there was a retail outlet.

My quilt has arrived. It is so beautiful. I have always fancied making a quilt but I think it might be beyond me - & looking at this quilt confirms it.
Thank you so much @Deafoldbat  :loveit:

I've been making the Style Arc Clare pants this weekend, https://www.stylearc.com/shop/sewing-patterns/clare-pant/
Ive not got to the waist, so I can't comment yet. They are wide legged & flat front, so may be what you are looking for.

I don't want to encourage anyone but the £2 pm cottons have reappeared including that one with the lemons on it.

i saw that & placed an order for the lemons fabric, plus a couple of jersey's & a viscose. i hope to start sewing for myself now that scrubs sewing has finished.
