I want to cover cushion pads for outdoor garden chairs (not loungers) seats
Any suggestions ?
(I thought of oil cloth but I think that would get very sticky to sit on after a while). -<

Crofmill have a lot of waterproofed fabric. They send samples as well. https://www.croftmill.co.uk/products/waterproof-fabrics-products.html?productPage=-1
I have bought lots of fabric from them, not the waterproof sort though. They are quick and reliable.

Lots of furnishing fabric houses make outdoor designs these days....unless you need a large amount, check places that stock remnants and end of line pieces like https://endoflinefabrics.co.uk/ or https://www.activefabrics.co.uk/upholstery-furniture-fabrics/garden-outdoor-furniture.html
Just Fabrics has an outdoor section too....and Foamforhome.

Even our Walmart had outdoor fabric last summer. Not waterproof to protect whats inside, but sun-proof to protect from fading. You can also buy an iron-on plastic to make any fabric waterproof. I think some of that applied to the backside of an outdoor fabric would work well.

Don't forget that needles will punch non-waterproof holes in your fabric. >:)
