Must have been cold in the night as there was a thin layer of ice on the horses' water buckets. 1.5C when I went out, with a good breeze.  It looks lovely through the windows until you venture out.

Need to go shopping.  DH has managed to eat in four days what should have lasted 7 - I don't know where he puts it.  Whenever I look at him he is munching (and boy, does he munch!). I think this lockdown has confirmed to me just what a noisy eater he is.  I am probably now listening out for it, and it drives me to want to shriek at him!.  If I should help myself to a (rare) biscuit or piece of fruit, he always says 'Where's mine?' and yes, he means it.  I can eat nothing without having to share or provide the same for him, but he is constantly stuffing his face and never, ever asks if I want any!  Its funny, because we are both 'only children' and I was taught to always share, always offer and always help and he does absolutely none of this!  I sometimes get annoyed as he is not so much selfish, as self centred.  His mother treated him like a King and I don't think he can function in any other way.  Oh I'm just having a moan, as like all of us, feel a bit cheesed off with groundhog day!

Absolutely livid with an eBay seller.  Bid for, and 'won' a Bernina bobbin case.  Fine - the postage charge was a little hefty, but it said 'One day Packlink' at £7.39.  A bit expensive I thought, but never mind, only paid £6 for the bobbin case. It arrived today (one week after winning it) not via Packlink, but via Royal mail with a second class stamp on it, in a much used envelope with more sticky tape than paper!  I have sent him a message asking for a refund of the extra postage, and will escalate it if he doesn't play ball.  I'm hoping it was a genuine mistake, but I have taken photo of his invoice and the wretched envelope!

Three for lucky me!  Two delightful ones from @Kad who must have been using a drone to spy on me!  I have Buff Sussex bantams which are the same as the lovely hen, and I also have three cats!

Why do they have to have such dreadful music to accompany them?  And as for stitch in the ditch...well, pick a ditch, any ditch you like!  What a fat seam as well!  I didn't watch the whole video either!

I have repaired horse rugs on mine, which also involves sewing through layers of webbing, and it coped absolutely fine - I sometimes have to give the 'hand wheel' a bit of a shove, but I have never had had a problem with it being slant shank, or  had broken needles.  The only downside was not being able to lift the foot any higher than I would have liked.

I had a 401G which I stupidly sold about a year ago.  It was a fantastic machine, fast, solidly made and a beautiful stitcher.  It isn't particularly user friendly, but when you do get used to it, its marvellous!.  It did the best satin stitch of any machine I have ever had (and boy, have I had a lot!)
