This is very much a forlorn hope, but I found this pattern on Google yesterday, only to find it's out of print. :(
I found a couple on Ebay and Etsy, but in both cases the postage was prohibitive. I also found one on FB, but that had been sold and not removed (don't you hate that?).
So, I thought of you lovely ladies, and wondered if anyone had a copy of this pattern they would be willing to sell. It's Butterick 6881 and has four dressing gowns pictured on the front.
Fingers firmly crossed,
Jessie

I assume it is this
(https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/5lEAAOSwe6FdP6ei/s-l640.jpg)
and not any of the other garments with the same number? Will an alternative do?
-
@UttaRetch , thank you! Yes that's the one - didn't realise there were five gowns displayed.
I quite fancy either D or E, but up to now I've had no luck finding one with reasonable postage.
I have some lovely fabric, but I want to make a feature of the stripe in the fleecy fabric, so the top of A B or C would be perfect.

I prefer A, B and C :D Would an alternative do?

This UK ebay shop (https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PETITE-A-LINE-FLARE-ROBE-DRESSING-GOWN-Sewing-Pattern-SIZE-XS-S-M-UNCUT-B6881/323921036291?hash=item4b6b32c403:g:3UgAAOSwaaJdg2et) has one up to size medium.

@UttaRetch , the only alternative I found was Simplicity 8793, but again, it's out of print. It also hasn't got the separate bodice piece (although that could be done).
I've just asked a friend to have a look in her pattern stash to see if she has the Butterick one. Not holding my breath though… :S

Well spotted! I didn't see that yesterday.
I'll check it out and see what the sizes are like.
Thank you @UttaRetch !

I hope you can make it work.

I remember making view D or something similar in the late 1960s. It was royal blue needlecord, really cosy for a draughty flat in those days without central heating. Hope you find it.

Connie Crawford has one, Butterick 6300 that while not a zip front isn't too hard to make it do that.

Thanks everyone! Thanks to eagle eyed @UttaRetch , I have a copy on its way to me.
It may be a touch on the small side, I couldn't find the envelope back anywhere online to check the sizes, but I will make it fit!
Also bought some fabric from Pound fabrics to make a toile - well it would have been rude not to at 30p a metre!

There's two pics of the envelope back here (not great pictures but may give you an idea? )

Think other US sellers show the envelope backs too.

@Lizzy777 , Thank You! Just about to have a look now! If the ease is generous, I may not need to alter it.

@b15erk
Just added another one. Has a bit more info shown. They have a larger one available but it works out at £21 for the pattern with delivery I think. It's a nice pattern though.

Thanks Lizzy, I can't see any ease on the back, but it's such a simple pattern, it can't be that difficult to alter... can it? ;)
I think the best bet is to measure the pattern pieces when it arrives. I don't like a great deal of ease, so it may just mean adding a smidge to the sides...

No I don't think it will be difficult to alter at all, as it does seem to be a generous type of design. Theres quite a few reviews online too which may help. I can't see any ease details either so its just waiting for the pattern now :)

Just received my pattern, and I can't find see any mention of ease in the instructions. :S
So, back to plan B, I'll have to measure the pieces...
I've ordered some fabric for a toile, so I can work on some pattern alterations in the meantime... :S
