That's a very pretty machine, but it's either in the wrong base, or the base has been painted.  It also appears to be lacking a cover...

I have quite a few VSM's which I store at work, one of which is a 66.  Not been in work since March so the poor things are going to be disintegrating without some TLC...

The listing says that it's a non-Singer plastic base - I wonder where that came from?!?  I do like the colour of it though.
