Shrewsbury. They're getting nearer. :D

wish they would come to Norfolk :(

Really, great news. I did hear earlier this year that sales were down. I'm very lucky as I have reasonable access to four of their stores ( that's why no fabric bought at FOQ as I have so much).

They are still a long way from Kent. :'(
-
And mega miles from the North East :'(
-
Too far from East Yorks too :'(

You should all go for short breaks to the Wirral. It's a great place and you have two of their stores right on your doorstep, and two more pretty close.

I'd have to get a boat/plane. :(

They are taking over the world! Well, at least I hope so. For anyone minded to have a fabric holiday (that's a holiday WITH fabric not FROM fabric) a little trip over to their HQ in Mostyn in N Wales could be combined with a bit of sandcastle building at the seaside (or a visit to Burnley and the 'church' ).

Try e-mailing the corporate headquarters that you want one near to you. Have any and all of your friends do the same, even if they don't do any crafting. Do it every 3 to 4 weeks. These large companies only go where they think there is a demand for them. Of course if you are very small town and rural with no larger cities nearby it won't work too well but you still might get one to the nearest place they consider large enough.
It's worked for me with two grocery chains. Of course I wasn't the only one writing and calling.
