Just had a rather unpleasant ten minutes. I had been watching tv with my feet up on a footstool as usual. When I went to move I got the worst cramp I have ever had and not in my feet or calves as I have had but apparently in my shins - both legs and went on much longer than I remember having before.
It has gone now, but I have no idea why it happened or why it was so bad.
Now just hoping it doesn't come back.

Happy Birthday @Catllar  :toast: :cake: :toast:

Happy Birthday @Mick  :toast: :cake: :toast:

Back home after attending a funeral which went as well as these things can.
Bonus was, that the weather improved considerably from the cloud/rain/wind I woke to. OTOH with plenty of time I managed to miss one bus and ended up having to power walk to the church and just made it before the minister started  :|

The eulogy was given by an old friend, younger and had known S since he was a wee boy and who had also been involved in amateur drama, probably one of the best eulogies I have heard. He told her story, which was a very full one, and described her perfectly.
My short description? A 97yo force of nature.
And the 'tea' after was exactly what we all needed to bring us back to the present and set us on our way.

Moving not just house but location @Catllar ?
Somehow I have come to love my home more over the last 18 months. Found myself making plans for the garden instead of just muttering about keeping it fairly tidy. However I look at other people (saw a few at the funeral who I haven't seen for a couple of years and was aware of some of them being much less mobile) and know that at some point I will have to 'review the situation'.

@Sandra  :grouphug:

I know it looks as if we are all piling in on top of you, but this level of unanimity is because we all care about you and what happens to you.

But I spent good money on it
Yes, I know I can't remember when I wore it
But I spent good money on it
Yes, it's black and black is draining - I look better in paler colours
But I spent good money on it

After 18 months of blank calendars with the very occasional 'excitement' like hairdresser (when they opened), car service, essential property maintenance I found myself thinking this morning 'oh good, nothing planned' after having been somewhere for the last four days.

Oh, she is gorgeous  <3

One day maybe (although my ideal would be a 222K made in 1945).

I feel absolutely fine. Don't feel panicked or upset or anything.  -< I have no plan for what I'm going to do or where I'm going to go, and I probably should have (a plan).
My only worry is for my Dad who's going to be upset and worried for me. He's got enough going on at the moment without this.

Do any of the four of you have a plan for where Son and Daughter are going to go?

Having collapsed into bed (I did make myself wash the tea dishes first) I ended up listening to the tennis on the radio which woke me up again - worth it though.

We had sunshine first thing this morning. Does lift the mood.

I had a lovely afternoon catching up with my friend - and giving her a chance to off load about her work situation. However I did need a quiet sit down when I got home (only just seen the time and realised i need to sort my evening meal) I am just not used to 'peopling'.

Cloudy and damp here with rain forecast for the afternoon - when I am meeting a friend in town for a catch-up.
Hope I can find a better mood by then. I seem to be in a right grump for no reason.
